4 Lawful bases for using your personal information
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK data protection law:
- Contract: to take steps at your request when you enter and to administer the Prize Draw in accordance with its Terms and Conditions.
- Legitimate interests: to run a fair and secure Prize Draw, verify entries, prevent fraud, respond to enquiries, maintain records and protect our legal rights. We consider these uses necessary and proportionate and balance them against your rights and interests.
- Legal obligation: where we need to keep or disclose information to comply with applicable law or a regulatory requirement.
- Consent: to send marketing communications or use non-essential cookies where your consent has been given. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

6 International transfers
Some organisations involved in administering or fulfilling the prize may be based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we will ensure that an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism is used. This may include UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted by law. You may contact us for further information about the safeguard used for a particular transfer.
7 How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Entry and administration records will normally be retained until the Prize Draw has been completed, the prize has been fulfilled and any reasonable period for queries, complaints, audit or legal claims has passed. Information required for legal, tax, regulatory or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained for longer where necessary.
Where you have consented to marketing, we will keep the relevant contact details and consent record until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer needed. We may retain a limited suppression record to ensure that we respect an unsubscribe request. Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymised.
8 Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. Access is limited to people and service providers who need the information for an authorised purpose. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we review our safeguards and respond to suspected data incidents in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis used, you may have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to erase your information in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information in certain circumstances;

Your right to object: You have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
